March Composition Competition

To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Governor General’s Foot Guards, the senior reserve infantry regiment in Canada, and to highlight the unit’s past, present and future, GGFG is hosting a march composition competition. The aim of this competition is not only to commemorate, but to also inspire and cultivate the creation of new, exciting music for military band. The winning composers will be awarded the opportunity to have their march premiered in Ottawa, ON by the GGFG band.
